Anyone stepping into Honeydukes in Hogsmeade for the first time has no idea where to look first: Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Pepper Imps, shelves stacked right up to the ceiling. This advent calendar takes exactly that delightful sense of overload as its model.

The Harry Potter Advent Calendar Honeydukes looks like the shop window of the famous sweet shop, pink striped and packed with colourful treats. Behind its 24 doors, though, you won't find sweets but little gifts for a wizard's everyday life: stationery such as a pen, highlighter, ruler, eraser and washi tape, jewellery such as a bracelet and a necklace, plus socks, a drawstring bag, a shopping bag, stickers, a woven patch, a puzzle, magnets, a luggage tag and quite a bit more. A small piece of Hogwarts every morning, and no dentist appointment in January.

For everyone who thinks of collectible cards the moment they hear the words Chocolate Frog, and who would happily spend all of Advent in Diagon Alley. The only drawback: from 25 December you'll be back to waiting for an owl ;)
