Description Star Trek Rock - Phaser-controlled moodlight
Necessity is the mother of invention. So if, like Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek you're stranded on a bitterly cold planet and don't want to freeze to death, you have to find a way to help yourself. In the episode The Enemy Within or Kirk : 2 = ? in the first season of Star Trek, the members of the ground mission come up with a clever idea: they heat up stones with their phasers and warm themselves on the glowing stones!
The "Star Trek Rock" phaser-controlled moodlight lets you re-enact your experiences on the planet Alfa 177 - but without the risk of freezing to death. This detailed and hand-painted replica of a rock from the planet in question conceals a color-changing light that can be controlled with a phaser remote control. In addition to the classic "Survival" modemode, in which the stone can be "heated up", the light also has a "Atmosphere" modemode, which includes a color change function and a sleep mode that slowly dims the light over a period of 10 minutes.
In addition to the stone and the phaser, there is also a Federation survival blanketthe matching USB cable and detailed instructions. If you now dress your dog or cat in the "Alfa-177-Dog" costume and turn down the heating, the illusion is (almost) perfect ;)
