Description USB Volcano
Volcanic eruptions are indeed quite fascinating - at least when you can observe them from a safe distance. This USB Volcano is guaranteed to be completely harmless, but still offers some of the fascination of a real volcano:
First of all, you need to fill the casing of the USB Volcano with water. Then, at the push of a button, the small model volcano inside the casing starts to spit out small red plastic beads, which then slowly sink back down - almost like the lava of a real volcano. Eruption and cooling phases alternate: During the eruption phase, the red beads are propelled upwards, and during the cooling phase, they sink back down. Additionally, the inside of the casing lights up red when the volcano is erupting and blue when it is cooling down.
The USB Volcano is about 25cm high and requires a free USB port to operate. The included USB cable is 1m long. The device has an on/off switch, and you can adjust the speed of the animation.
